On our skateboards, we are all skaters
The passion for skateboarding knows no borders – neither geographical nor socio-economic or cultural ones. By promoting it, we contribute to better interracial and intercultural communications and connections, we help to build friendship and understanding, and we create a sense of belonging to a community at large.

Skills for life
We create safe spaces within bustling cities in Africa where children and youths can unfold, play and grow. Safe skate spaces allow children and youths to exercise and have fun, to clear their minds, and to relieve stress and frustrations. Skateboarding empowers children and youths to conquer obstacles through patience, perseverance, creativity and hard work – a skill which comes in handy also in their day-to-day life.

Skateboarding is olympic
Skateboarding as a sport is gaining more and more recognition. In 2021, skateboarding was part of the Olympic Games for the first time. In European countries and the U.S., there are numerous skateparks; they are an integral part of urban planning and community development. However, on the African continent, with the largest youth population in the entire world (60% under 25 years old), skateboarding is hardly known. This needs to change, so that we will see African skaters at international competitions in the future.
