About us

One Love Central is a non-profit organisation founded in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2014 by Braveman Moyo (see Bravemans story here) and five other members. Through our programs, we provide access, spaces, and the necessary equipment for children and youths to discover, learn and practice the sport. Besides that, we are helping to establish an African skate culture and the industries that go with it.

Our vision

Our objective is to use skateboarding as a vehicle for social and economic change in African communities. We empower youths through skating activities and learning opportunities and promote an active, healthy lifestyle and eco-mobility. In Zimbabwe, a partner organization is currently being established to offer our programs there as well. In Switzerland, the association One Love Central Switzerland was founded in 2021 to support the project implementation in South Africa and Zimbabwe as well as in other African countries in the future.
