One Love Central is a non-profit organization promoting skateboarding and longboarding in Africa.

Through our programs, we provide access, spaces, and the necessary equipment for children and youths to discover, learn and practice the sport.
Our vision
Our objective is to use skateboarding as a vehicle for social and economic change and to connect African youths to each other and to the world.
2023 schools freestyle pilot
In 2023, we will launch our first freestyle program at schools in South Africa. It aims to equip urban youth with the valuable life lessons skateboarding has as benefits. Our contents range from basic skateboarding skills to healthy diets and lifestyle choices.
Pilot timeline
In a three months pilot project, we will spearhead the freestyle program at various schools across the country. Youth will be invited to learn how to skateboard through our own passionate instructors and coaches. After the pilot, we will review our first experiences and further develop and expand the freestyle program.
Donate
To get this amazing initiative off the ground, we need funding from the community at large. With your support, we want to raise 6000 CHF to run the pilot project. As we already have skateboards of our own brand, the funds needed will help us to provide the protective gear for skateboarding, and cover transport as well as operation costs for three months.
